Principal's Message

Welcome to the Carroll High School website, one of the ways we are able to communicate with the community. One of our goals is to offer our students a well-rounded education that will assist them in maximizing their academic potential. We encourage parents to visit the website to gain any information necessary to support us in educating their child.

For those students who plan to attend college as their next step beyond high school, we offer a varied curriculum that prepares them for the rigorous demands of post-secondary education. Not only do we offer regular courses in social studies, English, mathematics, and science but we also offer students an opportunity to earn college credit in a number of areas while they are still in high school.

Outside of the classroom, we offer a variety of activities to students. It is a proven fact that the more activities students are involved in, the more successful they are in school. Carroll offers both extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Co-curricular activities include band, FCA, Beta Club, National Honor Society, the Chase Leadership Program, and Robotics. Through participation in these activities, our students forge strong bonds with other students and are supported by mentors/adults who are focused on nurturing young minds. Co-curricular activities provide depth, richness, and opportunities to put into practice all the skills students have learned throughout their K-12 educational experience.

Our school has teachers who have committed their time, energy, and lives to helping students learn and be prepared for an ever-changing world. They are in this profession because they want to have a positive impact on young people, not only in their learning but also in their lives.

Children are our future; therefore, we must teach them how to lead.  Education will never die; it was here in the past, exists now, and will continue tomorrow.  Let the children know and remember that when tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever. It is our responsibility to let them have experiences that will add to their legacy as others have contributed to ours.  Let their memories be of gain and success instead of failure and rejection; help them build a future that is worthy of the price that has been paid for their freedom to receive an education.

I believe that our school offers our students the opportunity to acquire an outstanding education. If you cannot find what you are looking for on this website, please contact the high school office at 318-387-8441, and we will assist you with getting the information you need and do our best to answer your questions.  After all, we are a "Family of Learning," and we want to ensure that everyone in our family achieves success.

Thanks for visiting our site!
